		The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook: Kauai Revealed This book is rated Number 1 in my opinion. Great overview of the Island with excellent recommendations overall. Great for first or second time visitors!
		Kauai Underground Guide This is a great book too. It takes a slightly more eclectic look at Kauai. I've been told this is more of a "locals" view. Better for people who have visited a few times and are looking for something different.

Hale Makani and Princeville

Hale Makani is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath detached home located in the Princeville Resort community. On the second floor is the master suite. This includes a bedroom, bathroom, lanai (balcony) and a sitting room. The sitting room has a queen sofa sleeper and can be closed off from the master bedroom to provide another bedroom. The house is fully furnished and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need for preparing meals during your stay.

Princeville is found on Kauai's North Shore. It's centrally located for Northern Kauai activities and just a short drive from the picturesque town of Hanalei and several beautiful beaches. ShoreDiving.com has some good info on snorkling/scuba spots on the island.

There are two championship golf courses in Princeville, the 27 hole Makai and the 18 hole Prince. The Prince Course was rated the No. 1 golf course in Hawai'i by Golf Digest and the Makai course made the list too. Just down the street is the Princeville Resort where you'll find fine dining as well as the Princeville Health Club and Spa.
